Interfaith Passover Seder 2019

More than 150 people from various religious backgrounds enjoyed the Passover Seder hosted by the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the JCRC of Silicon Valley.  The custom haggadah used the Passover story of strangers and powerlessness in foreign lands to explore issues faced by immigrants today.  The seder was jointly led by Rabbi Melanie Aron, Congregation Shir Hadash,  and Fr. Robert Fambrini, Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

14th Annual Faith Forum and Festival 2018

On March 11, 2018, JCRC Director Diane Fisher, along with Mitty High School Teacher Steve Herrera, once again traveled with the Teen Interfaith Leadership Council of Santa Clara County to participate in the 14^th Annual Faith Forum and Festival, sponsored by the Interfaith Youth Council of Orange County.  More than 200 teens of a wide variety of faith backgrounds and cultures came together to engage in dialogue, showcase their talents, and learn from and about each other. Each of our teens came away with a much stronger understanding, compassion and tolerance for each other and their communities.
