Bar Yohai Sephardic Minyan (BYSM) is a Orthodox Sephardic Shul comprised of more than 60 families. We are a diverse community that includes Sephardim, Ashkenazim, and Jews from all over the world. We are located in the heart of Silicon Valley; most members make a living in the high-tech industry. Our Shul is located on the campus of the South Peninsula Hebrew Day School, a local Orthodox day school (www.sphds.org ). We are known for our welcoming and warm atmosphere, support of the state of Israel, and a keen interest in stimulating and intellectually inspiring Jewish learning.

The Bar Yohai Sephardic Minyan is a vibrant community attracting more than 120 people to shul every Shabbat. We hold regular daily minyanim, and offer a wide range of social and educational activities. The best way to stay connected with all that is happening, the various programs and schedules, is to join our mailing list. Our mailing list is used strictly for BYSM communication and will not be sold or shared with any other organization.

We offer minyanim three times daily, extensive programming on Shabbat, as well as a program and classes.
