MITZVAH DAY

This annual event is a community outreach effort coordinated by the Tikkun Olam Team at Congregation Beth David in conjunction with the local Saratoga community and non-profit organizations. The day provides an opportunity to come together and do something meaningful.

Mitzvah Day kicks off with Minyan at 9:00am followed by a welcome by Rabbi Alpert at 9:30am. Then volunteers will go to their various assignments around the synagogue and the community – cooking meals, cleaning parks and trails, making blankets for homebound people, assembling bags of supplies for those experiencing homelessness, and more.

All are welcome to join other members of our community and participate in various social action projects for our annual Mitzvah Day. Whatever your interest, there is some group or someone special that could use a couple hours of your time.
