L’Dor V’Dor, Hillel of Silicon Valley’s gala yearly event, takes place on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 2 pm at the San Jose State University Ballroom. We’ll welcome Tu B’Shevat—the Jewish New Year of the Trees—and the blossoming of spring. Plus, an even greater blossoming of Hillel SV programs and students participating. Come see and hear how Hillel and its students make a difference in Jewish campus life.

Don’t miss keynote speaker Judea Pearl, the Turing Award-winning Israeli-American renowned for his revolutionary path in computer science. Professor Pearl, father of Daniel Pearl, is also a leader in fostering Jewish identity on campus. Shlomi Kofman, Israel’s Consul General to the Pacific Northwest, will open L’Dor V’Dor ‘s program, highlighting our resilient connections.

Students are the heart of Hillel’s mission and we are proud to honor those students who bring especial leadership, energy, and activism to our programs. We are also honoring community members Dr. Edward and Marjorie Cahn and Lori Gahn who add so much to our mission.

We invite you to come see friends, enjoy a wide variety of delicious appetizers and desserts, and support our thriving Hillel SV. We couldn’t do it without you. We look forward to seeing you at L’Dor V’Dor.
