In this series of 1 hour bio-musicals you’ll learn the stories and enjoy the tunes of some of our favorite Broadway Shows.
This month's theme is the 1960's.
The 60's began with the longest running musical in theatrical history: "The Fantastiks." The last period of the Golden Age of Broadway produced some of the greatest musicals in Broadway history: "Camelot," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Bye, Bye, Birdie," "Hello Dolly,"" Oliver," "Funny Girl," "Man of La Mancha," and "Cabaret" to name a few. By the end of the decade, the Age of Aquarius dragged Broadway into the wild youth rebellion of the sixties. "Hair" had arrived. But the 70's promised something new and exciting.
